In the middle of the historic old town of Cochem you can find our pub "Zum Kapuziner" (The Capuchine Monk) directly on the banks of the Mosel.

In our Vinothek you can buy wine to take away, taste wine and order wine directly from the cask, with expert advice in all cases. Open every day from 10 a.m. to late evening (in the winter only in the afternoon) you have the choice between more than 40 different Mosel wines as well as liqueurs and sparkling wine. In season we sell also vines for your garden or terraces, giving you the possibility of enjoying the grapes you've grown yourself.

In our cosy Weinstube (wine bar) giving out on to the romantic terrace overlooking the Mosel we also stock a large choice of wine sold by the glass from our own vineyards, giving you the chance to discover and to enjoy wine new to you, and as the ideal basis – selected to suit the wines – good home cooking from the vintner's kitchen, selected cheese specialities and crisp salads in the summer. Coffee and home-baked cakes round off the menu. (Open in the season from Easter to the middle of November, closed on Tuesdays)

We offer wine tasting sessions with an expert commentary for parties of eight or more people, with booking in advance. Sample fine wines and discover a lot about wine production, points of interest in our region and health related aspects of wine enjoyment. Informal wine tasting is possible at all times in our Weinstube.
